Are you looking for shorter, casual, flexible shifts to suit your availability and fit in the important things in life? The LNER Stadium could be just for you! We are on the lookout for Bar/Kiosk Assistants to work at one of our most modern and electric venues, York LNER Community Stadium! This is a fun, vibrant flexible role with shifts to fit around the many other important things in life!
The Venue The LNER Community Stadium is York's premier sports and entertainment destination. Opened in 2021, this state-of-the-art 8,500 seat venue. Home to the York Knights, who are currently competing in the Betfred Super League, and home to York City FC, newly promoted to the EFL League, LNER brings some of the biggest names and matches in Football and Rugby to York! At the Stadium, the Legends team offer a diverse and incredible catering offering on match days including the loungers, private boxes, and premium seating areas. When not on a match day, the Stadium is a prime conferencing and events location, so truly no two days are the same!
What we can offer
- £15.72 p/h including holiday pay!
- Flexible, casual hours to suit your availability - 4 hour shifts on match days and 4-8 hour shifts on C&E
- Bi-weekly pay
- Opportunity to work at a large variety of showstopping events and venues including York Racecourse
- Paid travel time and mileage to other venues

Key Responsibilities
- Serving of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Serving of any food items and promoting to all guests
- Compliance with match day rules regarding alcohol
- Ensuring each Kiosk is kept presentable and cleaned thoroughly once closed.
Person Specification
- Previous bar experience is desirable
- Must be able to commute to the venue during unsociable hours
- Confident being customer facing
- Excellent customer service skills, with a great eye for detail
- Engaging, enthusiastic and punctual
Recruitment Process Outlined:
- Please complete the video interview question on the application form.
- To be successful in this role, you must be able to attend an Induction Training held on the 7th October. This will be a full venue training to prepare you for working at the Stadium.
