Salary: A GBP 50,000 + bonus
Location: Central London
A fantastic opportunity has become available with an exciting new opening in Central London, part of a luxury five-star hotel group with a truly distinctive design and concept. This is a unique opening and the first of several exciting developments planned across the UK.
I am looking for a passionate and experienced Assistant General Manager or Bar Manager who has a real passion for service, standards, and creating exceptional guest experiences.
This is a great opportunity to join a new opening from the start and play a key role in establishing the operation, team, and service culture.
About The Position
- Take responsibility for the smooth running of the operation, with a particular focus on bar and guest experience
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team
- Drive exceptional service standards and ensure consistency across every guest touchpoint
- Be hands-on and visible, leading from the front, and setting the tone for the team
- Work closely with the wider hotel team to deliver an outstanding guest experience
- Support the opening of the venue and help establish operational procedures and standards
- Drive sales, upselling, and commercial performance
- Support recruitment, training, and development of the team
- Manage rotas, staffing levels, and operational costs
- Maintain the highest standards of presentation, service, and compliance

The successful candidate
- Will have previous experience as an Bar Assistant General Manager OR, Bar Manager
- Experience within a luxury hotel, high-end bar, restaurant, or premium hospitality environment is highly desirable
- A genuine passion for service and delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team
- Excellent knowledge of operational standards and service delivery
- A hands-on, positive, and energetic approach
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of sales and profitability
- High attention to detail and a passion for maintaining exceptional standards
- Someone who wants to be part of an exciting new opening and help build something from the ground up
