Brickendon Grange Golf Club, located in the scenic Hertfordshire countryside, is home to a stunning 160-acre parkland golf course, celebrated as one of the finest in the region. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an experienced Bar Manager at Brickendon Grange Golf Club, located in Hertford. The Bar Manager will oversee daily bar operations, manage staff, maintain inventory, and ensure exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include:

The role requires effective communication skills and the ability to foster a welcoming and professional atmosphere for members and guests. This role also consists of events setups and event coordination.

Qualifications

  • Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with members, guests, and staff
  • Experience and knowledge in Food & Beverage operations, including inventory management and compliance with health and safety standards
  • Proficiency in Training and supervising staff to maintain high performance and guest satisfaction
  • Sales skills to drive revenue and identify opportunities for business growth
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Previous experience in a hospitality management role is preferred
  • Certification in hospitality management or food safety is a plus
  • Events experience is preferred
