Job Description
House of Louie is looking for an experienced and inspiring Bar Manager to lead our bar operations and join our passionate team.
As Bar Manager, you will take ownership of the bar’s day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional standards across service, drinks, team development, and guest experience. You will be a natural leader who can motivate and support your team, maintain consistency and creativity behind the bar, and bring energy and personality to every shift.

Qualifications
Required Experience & Skills:
- Proven management or supervisory experience in a premium bar, luxury hotel, high-quality restaurant or lifestyle operation
- Excellent cocktail, spirits and beverage knowledge with the ability to guide both guests and team members with confidence and expertise
- Strong people skills and proven ability to lead, motivate and develop diverse teams in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated experience in P&L management, stock control and financial accountability
- Comprehensive knowledge of health, safety and licensing compliance requirements
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative and inclusive approach
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisive decisions under pressure
- Proficiency in bar management systems and point-of-sale technology
- Resilience and flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and operational demands

Desirable Qualifications:
- Formal training or certification in hospitality management or bar operations
- Experience in staff induction and training programme development
- Knowledge of current beverage trends, mixology techniques and innovative bar concepts
- Experience in budget forecasting and revenue optimisation
- Familiarity with venue licensing and regulatory requirements specific to the United Kingdom
