We're recruiting confident and experienced Bar Managers to join our team at Scottish Gas Murrayfield for Scotland's huge 2026 Autumn International fixtures.

Be part of the incredible matchday atmosphere as Scotland welcome New Zealand, Australia and Japan to Edinburgh this November.

You'll Have The Opportunity To Work Across

  • Scotland v New Zealand – Saturday 7 November 2026
  • Scotland v Australia – Sunday 15 November 2026
  • Scotland v Japan – Saturday 21 November 2026

This is a fantastic opportunity to manage high-volume bar operations at one of the UK's most iconic rugby venues.

The Role

As a Bar Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a busy bar operation within Scottish Gas Murrayfield, managing your team and ensuring supporters receive fast, friendly and professional service.

You'll play a key role in ensuring your bar is fully prepared, appropriately stocked and operating efficiently throughout each matchday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, brief and manage bar teams throughout matchday operations.
  • Ensure bars are set up, stocked and ready for service.
  • Deliver fast, efficient and professional customer service standards.
  • Manage stock levels and coordinate replenishment throughout service.
  • Oversee till and cashless payment procedures.
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service and licensing requirements are followed.
  • Monitor queues and service speeds during peak periods.
  • Allocate team members effectively according to operational demand.
  • Resolve customer and operational issues professionally.
  • Maintain excellent cleanliness, presentation and health & safety standards.
  • Manage bar close-down and stock procedures.
  • Work closely with senior event and venue management.
  • Complete required operational checks and reporting.

About You

We're looking for people who:

  • Are aged 18 or over.
  • Have previous bar management or supervisory experience.
  • Have experience working within high-volume bars, hospitality or events.
  • Are confident leading and motivating teams.
  • Thrive in busy, high-pressure environments.
  • Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Understand responsible alcohol service and licensing requirements.
  • Are organised, reliable and solutions-focused.
  • Are available to work the Autumn International matchdays at Murrayfield.
