Looking for a fun, fast-paced bar job in the heart of London?

At International Students House (ISH), no two nights are ever the same. We’re home to 229 The Venue - a unique live music and events space that’s hosted artists like Kings of Leon and Paul Weller - and The Thirsty Scholar Bar, a buzzing student hangout famous for quiz nights, karaoke, club events, and great food & drink.

We’re now looking for enthusiastic Bar People to join our team and be part of the action.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Serving drinks and bar food with confidence and a smile
  • Welcoming guests and creating a great first impression
  • Keeping the bar and service areas looking sharp
  • Handling payments responsibly and accurately
  • Supporting a wide range of events - from live gigs to student parties
  • Working as part of a friendly, multicultural team

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous bar or hospitality experience is a plus - but enthusiasm and a great attitude are just as important
  • A positive, outgoing personality and genuine love of customer service
  • Ability to stay cool in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings and late nights
  • A reliable team player who shows up ready to make a difference

What we offer:

  • £12.71 per hour + holiday pay (rising to £14.80/hr after probation)
  • £3 food allowance for every shift over 4 hours
  • 50% off food at The Thirsty Scholar Bar
