Bar Staffing Manager
Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is London’s biggest iconic festive event, welcoming millions of visitors every year. With multiple themed bars, food outlets, rides, and attractions, it’s a world-class destination that delivers unforgettable festive experiences. We are seeking an experienced Bar Staffing Manager to join our team and lead the deployment and management of bar staff across the event.
The Role
As the Bar Staffing Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our bars operate smoothly throughout the season. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that our bars are efficiently staffed and for supporting a high-performing team that delivers excellent customer service in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Schedule bar staff for multiple venues across the event using our resource management platform Deputy.
- Lead training sessions to ensure all staff meet compliance, licensing, and service standards.
- Manage rotas, payroll submissions, and staff welfare during the event.
- Motivate and support staff to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
- Act as the main point of contact for staffing-related queries, resolving issues quickly.
- Collaborate with the wider Bars & Operations team to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Monitor staffing levels and adapt schedules as needed to meet demand.

We are looking for a dynamic and organised individual with strong leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in bar management or large-scale event staffing.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy, high-energy environment.
- Strong leadership and team motivation skills.
- Knowledge of licensing laws, health & safety, and compliance standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and across the festive period (including Christmas and New Year).
