We’re looking for a Bar Supervisor
Bartholomew’s at London Museum, opening its doors on 28 November in the heart of historic Smithfield, brings together thousands of years of London’s history through world-class events, experiences and hospitality.
About the Role
We are looking for a Bar Supervisor who loves bringing places to life, naturally connects with people and leads from the floor. Someone who gets genuine satisfaction from seeing familiar faces return, remembers people’s names and favourite drinks, and takes pride in helping a team deliver brilliant hospitality. You’ll be curious about cocktails, food and drink, and excited to share the stories behind what we serve.
Bartholomew’s will be a contemporary London bar inspired by the energy of the city, with an evolving cocktail menu curated by Mr Lyan Studio alongside London-made serves, draught beer and elevated pub classics.
If you’re excited by the idea of helping shape a bar that becomes a favourite London destination, we’d love to hear from you.
At Green and Fortune, we take pride in the connections we make through the moments and memories we create.
Key Responsibilities
Operations:
- Take the lead on shift, keeping the bar running smoothly and maintaining high standards of service, presentation and quality throughout the day.
People:
- Lead by example, organising and supporting the bar team, coaching colleagues during service and creating a positive environment built around great hospitality.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
