We're looking for an ambitious Bar Supervisor with previous experience to help lead our busy bar at Carden Park Hotel, one of Cheshire's leading luxury resort destinations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bar Person who is ready to take the next step in their career and enjoys leading by example. You'll play an important role in supporting our managers, developing our team and ensuring every guest receives warm, attentive and memorable service.

Your Day With Team Carden

  • Support the management team with the day-to-day running of the bars and outdoor terrace.
  • Supervise and coordinate the team during service, delegating tasks effectively.
  • Prepare and serve a range of drinks, including cocktails and premium beverages.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of food and drink menus to confidently assist guests and take orders.
  • Deliver consistently high standards of service and guest care.
  • Prepare bars, restaurants and event spaces for service and complete end-of-shift close-downs.
  • Identify opportunities to maximise sales through product knowledge and recommendations.
  • Monitor stock levels, record wastage and support effective stock control.
  • Support the training and development of team members.
  • Ensure all licensing, health & safety, hygiene and company procedures are followed.
  • Assist with the smooth running of busy services, events and functions.

About You

  • You’re a warm, friendly and naturally personable individual who enjoys interacting with guests.
  • You have previous experience in a busy bar or hospitality environment and are ready to take the next step in your career.
  • You’re confident, approachable and able to build a good rapport with both guests and colleagues.
  • You have a passion for drinks and great service, with an interest in cocktails and premium beverages.
  • You’re organised, reliable and able to stay calm and focused during busy service.
  • You lead by example and enjoy supporting and developing your team.
  • You have good attention to detail and take pride in maintaining high standards.
  • You’re flexible and happy to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
