Why Wombat’s

At Wombat’s, we don’t just run hostels - our mission is to create places that inspire people. Places where strangers become mates.

We do this by fostering an open-minded and empathic atmosphere, where everyone is respected, valued, and – womly welcome.

Yes, we offer great service, clean & safe spaces, and top quality. But what we’re really about? The vibe. The connections. The feeling that everyone belongs. Staff, guests, and locals alike.

If you’re the kind of person who loves bringing people together, making them feel like you’re their best mate, just in another city, then you’re our kind of person.

Core tasks

  • Ensuring compliance with hygiene regulations (e.g. HACCP)
  • Training and onboarding new team members
  • Communicating with other departments to coordinate morning operations
  • Reporting technical issues or irregularities to the Head of F&B

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
