Job Title: Front of House Bar Team Member (Casual)
Location: Brookfield Barn, Lower Beeding, near Horsham, West Sussex (RH13 6LY)
Position Type: Casual / Zero-Hours (Flexible weekend and evening shifts)
Reporting To: Bar Manager / Assistant Bar Manager

Role Overview
We are looking for friendly, energetic, and reliable Casual Bar Team Members to join our dedicated Front of House crew. In this role, you will be on the front lines of our wedding days—preparing and serving drinks, welcoming guests, keeping the bar area spotless, and helping create a warm, celebratory atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Beverage Service: Prepare and serve draught beers, wines, spirits, soft drinks, and basic cocktails efficiently during post-ceremony receptions and evening parties.
- Welcome Drinks Setup: Assist in preparing and tray-serving welcome drinks, toast prosecco/champagne, and custom signature cocktails for wedding guests.
- Guest Care: Provide a warm, polite, and helpful experience to couples and their guests at all times.
- Bar Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized bar area, restock fridges and glassware, clear tables, and assist with glass washing throughout the shift.
- Event Reset & Close: Help set up drink stations before events begin and assist with basic close-down tasks at the end of the shift.
- Compliance: Follow Challenge 25 age-verification policies, allergen awareness protocols, and responsible alcohol service standards.

Requirements & Skills
- Experience: Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or event venue is a plus, but full training will be provided for those with the right attitude!
- Attitude: Positive, enthusiastic, and ready to work hard as part of a friendly team.
- Communication: Clear communication skills and a tidy, professional personal presentation.
- Punctuality: Reliable with a strong work ethic during busy peak service hours.
- Travel: Flexible availability for weekend, bank holiday, and evening shifts. Due to our rural location in Lower Beeding, having reliable private transport or access to a driver is essential.
