The Role
As a Bar Team Member, you'll play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences through exceptional service, quality drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere. Working as part of a fast-paced team, you'll prepare and serve beverages, maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation, and help ensure the smooth operation of the bar during every shift.
The Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly, efficient and engaging service to guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
- Prepare and serve drinks accurately and consistently, following recipes, presentation standards and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organised and fully stocked bar, including glassware, equipment, garnishes and workstations.
- Operate the till system, process payments correctly and follow all cash-handling procedures.
- Support smooth day-to-day bar operations by communicating effectively with colleagues, coordinating orders and assisting during busy service periods.
- Comply with all licensing, health & safety and food hygiene regulations, maintaining high standards at all times.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, stock management, cleaning duties and other tasks required to ensure the bar is service-ready.

What we're looking for
- A positive, enthusiastic and proactive individual with a genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Previous experience in a busy bar, restaurant or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of drinks and bar service, with the confidence to make recommendations and maximise guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Well-presented, organised, reliable and punctual, with a professional approach to work.
- A flexible attitude and willingness to work shifts in line with business and event requirements.
- A natural can-do approach, with the initiative to anticipate guest needs and support colleagues wherever needed.
