Bar Tender Position at Soho
We're seeking an experienced and energetic Bar Tender to join our team at Soho. As a Bar Tender, you'll be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing high-quality drinks, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits
- Interact with guests to take drink orders and make recommendations
- Ensure that all bar equipment and supplies are well-maintained and properly stored
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and standard operating procedures
- Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and operate point of sale (POS) system
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bar Tender or similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to lift heavy loads, stand for long periods of time, and work flexible hours
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques and drink recipes
- Responsible attitude towards serving alcohol and handling money

Barback Position at Soho
A barback is a crucial support role in the bar industry, helping the bartenders keep the bar running smoothly. The key responsibilities of a barback at Soho include:
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining bar inventory: Ensure that the bar is fully stocked with all the necessary supplies and ingredients, including glassware, alcohol, mixers, and fruit.
- Assisting the bartenders: Help the bartenders with any tasks they may need assistance with, such as fetching ice, pouring drinks, and restocking supplies.
- Cleaning and sanitizing: Keep the bar area clean and sanitary, including wiping down surfaces, sweeping the floor, and cleaning glasses.
- Providing excellent customer service: Attend to any customer requests, provide a warm and friendly welcome, and ensure that all customers have a positive experience at the bar.
- Following health and safety guidelines: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to ensure the safety of both customers and staff.
