We are looking for a skilled, charismatic, and passionate Barback to bring creativity and energy to our bar team.

74 Duke is a beautifully designed space which offers an exceptional dining and drinking experience, combining high-quality cuisine with a world-class cocktail and beverage program in a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere from morning to night.

It is one of the latest additions to BVC Hospitality, which operates a portfolio of innovative, globally recognised food concepts, including NAC, Le Cafe NAC, Crème, and Supernova. With a strong presence in London, Paris, and the Middle East, BVC Hospitality is known for blending creativity with operational excellence, delivering outstanding dining experiences across multiple markets.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an ambitious new concept to create a standout bar experience.

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Barback, you will play a vital role in ensuring the bar runs smoothly by supporting the bartenders and wider team. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, organising deliveries, and providing hands-on support during busy service periods.

We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role is a great entry point into the bar and hospitality industry, offering opportunities to learn and grow within a dynamic team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support bartenders by restocking spirits, mixers, garnishes, and glassware throughout service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, back bar, and storage spaces.
  • Assist with bar set-up and close-down procedures, ensuring all areas are prepared to a high standard.
  • Handle deliveries and stock rotation, ensuring inventory is accurate and well-maintained.
  • Collect and wash glassware, returning it promptly for service.
  • Ensure bins are emptied and waste is managed efficiently.
  • Provide general support to the bar and floor teams to ensure seamless service.
  • Uphold all health, safety, and hygiene standards.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or bar support role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong work ethic with a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A strong team player, willing to assist wherever needed.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak service periods.
  • A genuine interest in developing knowledge of the bar and hospitality industry.
