What will I be doing?
As a Barback at...At Sloane, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bar and providing exceptional service to our guests. You will work closely with our bartenders and other team members to maintain a clean and organised bar area, assist in the preparation of drinks, and deliver outstanding guest experiences.
- Assist bartenders in the preparation of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
- Restock bar inventory, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards, including responsible alcohol service.
- Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist in maintaining bar equipment and report any issues to the Bar Supervisor.
- Collaborate with the bar team to deliver prompt and efficient service.
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of drink recipes and bar procedures is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Must be of legal drinking age.
- Be flexible to work on late shift including weekends and bank holidays.
- Part-time position with potential for full-time transition.
- Involves heavy lifting and responsibilities for delivery handling and stock management.
