Boxcar Hyde Park is thriving and we are looking to grow our barista team! We’re searching for someone who brings great energy, a genuine smile, and a warm welcome for every guest. If you love great coffee, beautiful pastries, and creating a lively, friendly atmosphere as much as we do, we’d love to hear from you.
As a Barista You Will:
- Provide friendly and efficient service to our guests
- Work collaboratively with your team to ensure smooth operations and deliver outstanding experiences
- Learn and master all aspects of our menu
- Be confident in executing orders in a fast and efficient manner
- Embrace the spirit of teamwork, supporting your colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment

What We’re Looking For in a Barista:
- A great attitude
- A passion for coffee and service
- Skilled with latte art skills (heart, Rosetta, tulip)
- Ability to adjust grinder and dial in to set recipe
- Confident working a til system and recommending items to guests
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Focus on delivering exceptional guest service
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. It's really important that you have weekend availability as that's a buzzing time for us.
