All Good Cafe New Orleans in The Barnett Hotel

We are seeking a Barista with open availability to join our team. The Barista prepares high-quality coffee, beverages, and food items while providing warm, efficient, and friendly service. This role ensures cleanliness, accuracy, and consistency while maintaining a welcoming environment and supporting overall outlet operations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience

  • Prior barista, café, or food service experience preferred.
  • Hospitality or customer service experience a plus.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso machines, and beverage recipes.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for long periods.
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills.
  • Knowledge of sanitation, safety, and food-handling procedures.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, smoothies, and other beverages.
  • Take guest orders, process payments, and handle cash/point-of-sale transactions accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, barista station, and equipment.
  • Restock ingredients, cups, utensils, pastries, and merchandise.
  • Follow standard recipes and portion controls to ensure product consistency.
  • Engage warmly with guests, answer questions, and offer recommendations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management of supply needs.
  • Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
