Barista – Blenheim Palace Christmas Light Trail
Location: Woodstock, Oxfordshire
Pay: £14 per hour
Contract: Temporary, Casual / Event-Based
Shifts Available: November 2026 – January 2027

We're recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Baristas to join our team at Blenheim Palace for the spectacular Christmas Light Trail. Be part of the team delivering an unforgettable visitor experience at one of the UK's most iconic historic venues, as Blenheim Palace is transformed into a magical festive destination.
We are looking for people who are available to work five shifts per week on a rota basis, including evenings and weekends. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates seeking regular work throughout the festive season.
Whether you're an experienced barista or looking to gain valuable hospitality experience, you'll have the opportunity to work in a lively, fast-paced environment, preparing and serving drinks to visitors enjoying the Christmas festivities.
With opportunities to work at other major sporting events, festivals and live venues across the UK, there may also be opportunities to continue working with Freemans Event Partners throughout the year.
The Role
You'll work within busy coffee and refreshment outlets across the Blenheim Palace Christmas Light Trail, preparing and serving hot and cold drinks while delivering fast, friendly and efficient service to visitors.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold drinks, including coffees, teas, hot chocolates, and soft drinks.
- Operate coffee machines and other beverage equipment safely and efficiently.
- Deliver friendly, professional, and welcoming customer service.
- Take customer orders and operate tills, processing payments accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked coffee service area.
- Assist with stock replenishment and monitor supplies throughout each shift.
- Follow food hygiene, health, and safety procedures at all times.
- Support with outlet setup, close-down procedures, and general duties.
- Work collaboratively with your team to deliver excellent service during busy periods.
About You
We're looking for people who:
- Have previous barista, coffee shop, or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential).
- Are enthusiastic about delivering great customer service.
- Thrive in busy, fast-paced environments.
- Are reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Enjoy working as part of a team and can use their initiative.
- Are available to work five shifts per week on a rota basis.
- Can work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Are comfortable working at an outdoor seasonal event during the winter months.
