We’re looking for a driven and enthusiastic Barista to join our team at Restaurant Associates, where you’ll play a key role in creating exceptional coffee, beautifully crafted drinks and memorable experiences for our customers.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 on a variable shift pattern. Our café is open 7 days a week, so we’re looking for someone who can be fully flexible with their availability.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Crafting and serving great-tasting coffees, drinks and food that keep our customers coming back
  • Creating a welcoming, friendly and positive experience for every customer
  • Keeping the bar and café area clean, organised and ready to go
  • Taking and processing payments confidently, including cash and card
  • Working as an enthusiastic team player and communicating brilliantly with colleagues and customers
  • Keeping mugs, plates and equipment clean and fully stocked
  • Building your knowledge of coffee, brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation
  • Checking brewing equipment is working correctly and reporting any maintenance issues
  • Representing Restaurant Associates with pride and helping us maintain a positive brand image
  • Following all Food Hygiene, Health & Safety and company standards

We’re looking for someone who brings energy, personality and a genuine passion for great customer service.

You’ll Ideally Have

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build great relationships
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing or hospitality role
  • A positive, motivated attitude and a real drive for excellence
  • The confidence to use your initiative and make decisions that put the customer first
  • Hands-on experience using professional brewing equipment
  • The ability to stay calm, organised and efficient when things get busy
  • Excellent timekeeping and a reputation for being reliable and dependable
