Lexington is an award-winning contract caterer that focuses on providing great food and service to customers. To do this we need fabulous people and we work hard to create an environment where our team members feel engaged, inspired, valued and enjoy what they do.

Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is essential as shifts may vary to meet business needs. Overtime opportunities may be available.

What you'll be serving up...

As a Barista, you will play an important role in delivering excellent customer service and high-quality coffee while supporting the wider restaurant operation. This is not a coffee bar only role, and you will be expected to assist across all food service areas when required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and serving high-quality coffee and hot beverages to company standards
  • Ensuring the coffee bar, kitchen, and service areas are always clean, well-presented, and fully stocked
  • Keeping up to date with menus, food offers, and daily promotions
  • Providing a warm, friendly, and professional service to all customers
  • Supporting restaurant service and catering operations as required
  • Following all Food Safety, Health & Safety, and COSHH procedures
  • Assisting with stock control, replenishment, and daily cleaning tasks

  • Previous Barista experience is essential
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • Professional, reliable, and punctual approach to work
  • Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support colleagues across the restaurant
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings and late finishes when required
  • Flexible attitude with willingness to work overtime when needed
  • Positive, can-do attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety standards
