Chango Empanadas is expanding, and we're bringing our passion for Argentine empanadas to Battersea Power Station! We’re a vibrant, multicultural team passionate about great food, friendly service, and creating memorable experiences for our customers. As we prepare to open our exciting new location at Battersea Power Station, we’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable team members to join us from day one.
Empanada Team Member
Part-Time & Full-Time Opportunities
As a Team Member at Chango, you’ll play an important role in launching our new location. You’ll be at the heart of the customer experience, serving our signature Argentine empanadas, welcoming customers, and helping create the warm and friendly atmosphere that Chango is known for.
What you’ll be doing:
- Welcoming customers with a friendly and positive attitude
- Taking orders and processing payments accurately
- Heating and presenting empanadas to our quality standards
- Providing excellent customer service and creating memorable experiences
- Keeping the shop clean, organised, and well presented throughout the day
- Restocking products, drinks, packaging, and other supplies
- Following Chango’s food safety, hygiene, and operational procedures
- Working closely with the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Supporting the opening and launch of our brand-new Battersea location

What we’re looking for:
- Previous barista experience is essential
- A genuine passion for great food and excellent customer service
- Friendly, confident, and approachable communication skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to get involved
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
- Ability to work well as part of a multicultural team
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and busy periods
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- And, of course, a genuine love for empanadas! 🥟❤️

- Location: Battersea Power Station, London
- Job Type: Part-time and full-time positions available
- Pay: Starting from ÂŁ12.71/hour, based on experience
- Start Date: Ahead of the opening of our new location
