Barista at The Coffee Bar

(25 hour minimum contract)

At Jarrolds we pride ourselves on offering a fabulous experience to our customers whether they’re stopping by for a coffee and pastry or a special meal and celebration with a bottle of bubbly! With four restaurants at our main London Street store, two wine bars and a coffee shop, we mean business when it comes to eating out!

This is an exciting time for us as we are recruiting for a passionate and outgoing individual to join our skilled team of baristas in The Coffee Bar, which is nestled away within our fabulous Foodhall.

The job will involve all elements of working in a fast-paced coffee bar including the following:

  • Preparing and serving speciality drinks and cakes.
  • Engaging with customers to provide recommendations, answer questions, and ensure an outstanding experience.
  • Ensuring that all areas are kept clean and tidy, following strict Health & Safety processes.

We are looking for a big smile, an enthusiastic personality, and a genuine love for coffee and hospitality. Full training will be provided however some barista experience is essential.

You will also need to be able to work weekends and there will be times when overtime is available, sometimes at short notice.

  • Are you able to talk with enthusiasm and energy to our customers?
  • Can you multi-task and remain calm under pressure?
