Barista - Full-Time
SPAR Newcastle, Newcastle Service Station, Newcastle, Co. Dublin, is recruiting a Full-Time Barista to join our fantastic team. This role is ideal for a motivated person who enjoys working with customers in a fast-paced retail environment and is committed to delivering excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of beverage quality, presentation, and hygiene.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of coffees, teas, and other beverages to company standards
- Deliver excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain a clean, organised, and fully stocked work area
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures
- Operate the till and process customer transactions accurately
- Monitor stock levels and assist with replenishment as required
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve operational goals
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines
- Assist with other store duties as required

Requirements
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Previous barista experience is required
- Good numerical and cash-handling skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures is desirable
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends
