We're hiring a barista in London ☕

📍 Camden Passage, Islington ⏰ Full-time

Our London café, named Best New Coffee Shop at The London Coffee Festival Awards this year, has become home to a loyal community of coffee lovers. We're looking for a full-time barista to join the team behind it.

What you'll be doing:

  • Delivering outstanding customer service: creating warm, welcoming experiences that turn customers into regulars
  • Crafting exceptional coffee: preparing consistently high-quality espresso-based drinks and alternative brews
  • Engaging with customers: sharing our coffee, brewing methods and the stories behind our beans
  • Maintaining high standards: keeping the café clean, organised and running efficiently
  • Working as a team: collaborating with colleagues to keep service smooth and enjoyable
  • Handling stock and equipment: monitoring stock levels, dialling in coffee and caring for our La Marzocco Strada X, La Marzocco Swans and Picos, and Mahlkönig EK Omnia

  • At least one year of experience in a customer-facing or service role
  • A passion for great coffee and hospitality
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
