Job Summary
IIQAF Group is seeking a friendly, customer-focused, and enthusiastic Barista to join our hospitality team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and other beverages, delivering excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring an enjoyable café and dining experience for customers.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso machines, beverage recipes, food hygiene, and café operations. This opportunity is suitable for candidates with experience as a Barista, Café Barista, Coffee Shop Assistant, Coffee Maker, Barista Team Member, or Food and Beverage Assistant who are passionate about coffee, hospitality, and customer satisfaction.

- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, Americano, cappuccino, latte, flat white, macchiato, and mocha.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, coffee grinders, milk frothers, and other café equipment.
- Prepare hot and cold beverages, including tea, iced coffee, hot chocolate, specialty coffee, and seasonal drinks.
- Grind coffee beans, adjust coffee settings, extract espresso shots, and steam milk according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Deliver friendly, efficient, and professional customer service in a café, coffee shop, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting.
- Greet customers, explain menu options, recommend beverages, and respond to questions about coffee blends, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Maintain a professional appearance and follow company uniform, grooming, attendance, and workplace policies.
- Contribute to a welcoming atmosphere and consistently high standards of customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Previous experience as a Barista, Café Barista, Coffee Shop Assistant, Coffee Maker, or Food and Beverage Assistant is preferred.
- Experience working in a coffee shop, café, restaurant, hotel, bakery, or other hospitality environment is an advantage.
- Knowledge of espresso preparation, coffee brewing methods, milk steaming, and common coffee beverages.
- Familiarity with espresso machines, coffee grinders, beverage preparation equipment, and café cleaning procedures.
- Understanding of customer service, order taking, POS systems, and basic cash-handling procedures.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Relevant UK food hygiene training or certification is an advantage.
