Location: Bristol

Hours: Full-time

Pay: £13.45-£14 (Depending on experience)


We are currently seeking an experienced and confident Barista Supervisor to support the smooth running of our client's café operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong barista experience who is ready to take on a supervisory position, lead by example, and ensure consistently high standards of coffee, service, and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising day-to-day café operations during shifts
  • Leading and supporting barista team members on shift
  • Preparing and serving high-quality hot and cold beverages
  • Ensuring espresso drinks are consistently made to a high standard
  • Operating commercial espresso machines and grinders confidently
  • Delivering excellent customer service and resolving customer queries
  • Managing workflow during busy service periods
  • Handling cashing up, orders, and payment processing where required
  • Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards
  • Supporting stock control and replenishment
  • Ensuring opening/closing procedures are followed correctly

Essential Requirements

  • Strong previous barista experience is essential
  • Previous supervisory or senior barista experience preferred
  • Confident operating commercial espresso machines and grinders
  • Skilled in milk texturing and a full range of coffee beverages
  • Strong leadership and team support skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times
  • Valid Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Experience in a busy café, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment
