Founded in 1905, Chelsea FC competes at the highest level of domestic and European football, supported by world-class hospitality and non-matchday events. At the heart of West London sporting life, Legends Global works in partnership with Chelsea FC as their official F&B provider to deliver excellence on and off the pitch.
The Role
Lead and elevate the bar operations within Chelsea Football Club's Hospitality Department, delivering exceptional guest experiences that enhance every matchday and event. You will drive commercial performance, inspire and develop high-performing teams, and ensure outstanding standards across service, stock management, compliance and operational delivery. Working across both matchday and non-matchday events, you'll play a key role in creating memorable experiences while maximising revenue and operational excellence.
The Responsibilities
- Lead Bar Operations - Oversee the successful delivery of all bar services across Chelsea FC's matchday and non-matchday hospitality events, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
- Drive Team Performance - Recruit, schedule, train and develop bar teams, maintaining high service standards and ensuring adequate staffing for all events.
- Enhance Service Excellence - Continuously improve bar, wine and cocktail offerings, implementing best practices, training programmes and operational standards (SOPs).
- Manage Stock & Cellar Operations - Take ownership of ordering, stock control, deliveries, storage, rotation and cellar management to minimise waste and maximise efficiency.
- Ensure Compliance & Safety - Maintain a safe, compliant working environment, overseeing equipment maintenance, beer quality, hygiene standards and health & safety procedures.

What we're looking for
- Proven Leadership & Team Development - Experience leading, motivating and developing high-performing bar teams within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Strong Operational & Commercial Acumen - Confident managing budgets, labour costs, stock control and service standards to deliver both operational excellence and commercial success.
- Exceptional Organisation & Attention to Detail - Able to prioritise effectively, manage multiple demands and maintain consistently high standards across all areas of the operation.
- Collaborative & Solutions-Focused Mindset - Strong communicator who thrives under pressure, builds relationships across departments and takes a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Relevant Experience & Qualifications - Demonstrable bar management experience, knowledge of food hygiene, licensing and health & safety compliance, with experience using EPOS, stock management systems and Microsoft Office. Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification (or willingness to achieve it).
