Pay rate: £12.71 per hour (£13,263.65)
Contract type: Permanent, part-time, 20 hours per week, Week1 Sat/Sun and Wed/Thurs, Week 2 Mon/Tues and Fri
Shift times: 17.30 – 23.15
Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Bartender to be a part of our integral team at HMS Caledonia.
As a Bartender, you will be managing the bar's operations throughout your shift. You will be mixing and serving drinks whilst keeping the bar area clean and fully stocked. You will always provide excellent customer service and report into the General Manager on site.
Eligibility:
- You must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years.
- You must have legal right to work in the UK.
- You must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

What you’ll do:
- Mixing and serving drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, to meet customer preferences.
- Using Challenge 25, to ensure all IDs are valid.
- Capable of lone working and managing the bar service on your own.
- Cleaning the bar area, ensuring everything is clean and tidy before, during, and after service. This will include stocking up, stock rotation, facing up, spot cleaning etc.
- Operating the tills and taking card and cash payments, ensuring you are keeping financial records as required and offering excellent customer service to our customers. This will include cashing up at the end of the shift.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous bar experience is desirable however full training will be given on site.
- You must be 18+.
- Must have eligibility to work in the UK and have resided for longer than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role.
- Must be a great team player and confident to lone work when necessary.
