About Us

Part of Iconic Hotels and Resorts, The Lensbury is located on the Banks of the River Thames at Teddington and is home to an exclusive leisure club, a 155 bedroom hotel, meeting and events space, restaurant and bar, Spa and 25 acres of gardens and grounds.

The Role

We’ll soon be opening the doors to our newly refurbished restaurant and bar at The Lensbury a contemporary, welcoming space designed to be enjoyed from morning coffee through to evening drinks and relaxed dining.

Behind the bar, you will be the master of mixology crafting everything from classic favourites to creative new cocktails, all while ensuring every drink looks as good as it tastes. You will take pride in presentation, consistency, and adding that extra flair that keeps customers coming back for more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mix, garnish, and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with consistency, quality, and flair
  • Bring creativity to the bar by presenting drinks beautifully and contributing ideas for new cocktails
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, greet guests, take orders, recommend drinks, and create a welcoming atmosphere
  • Upsell specials and premium drinks in a natural, engaging way to enhance the guest experience
  • Handle customer queries and resolve any issues professionally, turning every visit into a positive one
  • Keep the bar fully stocked, organised, and ready for service, with a keen eye on inventory levels
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety at all times
  • Ensure responsible service by checking IDs and following licensing regulations
  • Accurately handle payments, manage tabs, and use POS systems with confidence
