Exciting Opportunity – Bartender (Full-Time)

We are looking for a dedicated Bartender to join our restaurant and bar team! This is an excellent opportunity to work in a prestigious club environment, offering a competitive salary of £30,784.00 per year.

Role Details:

  • Full-time position (40 hours per week, exclusive of breaks)
  • 5 out of 7 days on a shift/rota basis
  • Service-focused role in a professional and welcoming setting

What We’re Looking For:

  • Excellent communication skills with previous experience in hospitality or food service

  • Organised, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide a professional bar/liquor service across Club ensuring standards of service and hospitality are consistently delivered.
  • Maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of licensing laws and ensure these are upheld throughout each shift.
  • Ensure the bar and Terrace area is continuously checked and presented to a high standard throughout the shift, reporting any maintenance issues to ensure all areas are presented at their best.
  • Follow opening, closing and cleaning procedures each shift.
  • Deliver the service required at the summer tournament and other tournament/Club events as required by management.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Club events and actively promote Member activities.
  • Promptly resolve Member or guest complaints as received; advising management of all issues raised and action taken.
  • Ensure the correct use of the EPOS system at all times and that financial standards are followed when handling credit and Member card transactions. Reporting all cash/float discrepancies immediately to management.
  • Ensure security procedures are followed to prevent theft or loss of equipment, food and drink.

General Requirements:

  • Make suggestions and recommend any improvements to management.
  • Help control costs wherever possible.
  • Undertake projects and complete objectives as required by management.
  • Assist your colleagues at all times and across the Club where possible and when asked by management.
  • Attend internal meetings as required.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in restaurant waiting roles
  • Bartending in a upscale environment
