Swans Bar at Maison Assouline is a bastion of elegance and culture, nestled amongst the hustle and bustle of Piccadilly. A concept store for culture, founders Martine and Prosper Assouline created Maison Assouline as a refuge for those seeks style, culture, and art de vivre.
Our luxury cocktail bar in the heart of London is looking for an Bartender to join the team. You will need to be customer and service focused, deliver a high level of customer service, and be confident and competent behind the bar. You will interact with customers, take, and make orders and ensure the venue is well presented in-line with the brand.
Requirements:
- In-depth beverage knowledge, including cocktails, fine wines and premium spirits.
- Provide intuitive service, with absolute understanding of our guests needs to create exceptional service experiences, that result in lasting memories.
- Comfortable in a front-line role facing the public, with an open personality who is relaxed and natural in their interactions.
- Demonstrates a passionate and driven mindset to meet and exceed expectations whilst delivering outstanding attention to detail and precision in daily duties.
- Be motivated, creative and have worked in a similar role, within a five star or fine dining environment.
- Flexible approach to working different schedules within the needs of the business. This includes, early shifts, afternoon shifts, late shifts, and weekend schedules. You must be comfortable with working in team environment as well as working individually.

Qualifications:
- Passionate about delivering the highest levels of service with a desire to learn, work hard and progress.
- Empathetic and able to build relationships.
- Accurate with good attention to detail.
- Demonstrable desire to pursue a hospitality career.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a fast paced service environment.
- Has the ability to demonstrate personal ownership of tasks and will ensure completion to achieve the required results.
- Demonstrates passion about meeting and exceeding expectations whilst delivering outstanding attention to detail and precision.
- Current bar experience within a quality driven pub or bar operation.
- Has the ability to demonstrate personal ownership of tasks and will ensure completion to achieve the required results.
- Proven track record of achieve outstanding levels or personal and departmental targets.
About You:
- Current in-depth knowledge, including cocktails, fine wines and premium spirits.
- Working with the Head Bartender and Bartenders to create cocktails that are timelessly classic.
- Fully conversant in serving cocktails, drinks and food to standards.
- Handling complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensuring that licensing laws, health and safety legislation is adhered to.

Successful candidates for our Bartender opportunity will:
- Demonstrate genuine dedication and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service.
- Provide intuitive service, with absolute understanding of our guests needs to create exceptional service experiences, that result in lasting memories.
- You will have a passion for cocktails and quality products, be a team player who is an avid learner who wants to be challenged and developed.
- Be fluent in spoken and written English to meet and exceed expectations whilst delivering outstanding attention to detail and precision in executing daily task.
- Demonstrate the ability to work in a pressured environment with the most demanding guests.
- Have exceptional product knowledge, specifically around classic Cocktails.
Basic Salary of £27,000 P.A. plus a rewarding service commission scheme.
