Michelin chef-backed bar snacks. Curated cocktails. Brilliant hospitality. The opportunity to help shape the bar experience of an already thriving pizza business.
Spring Street Pizza isn’t your average neighbourhood slice shop. Led by Michelin-starred chef Tom Kemble, we produce 18-inch New York-style pizzas made from in-house fermented dough, world-class ingredients and a relentless obsession with flavour. Think serious craft, serious fun and a guest experience that leaves people reaching for their phones to tell everyone they know.
For the next stage of our journey, we’re expanding into our neighbouring arch to create Spring Street Pizza Bar: a drinks-focused venue where cocktails and wine are paired with a New York-inspired cicchetti menu curated by Tom Kemble.
We’re looking for a Bartender who has a genuine passion for drinks, loves true hospitality rather than simply providing service, and knows how to make every guest feel at home.
The Role
You’ll be at the heart of the Spring Street Pizza Bar experience, preparing brilliant drinks, bringing energy to the room and delivering warm, memorable hospitality from the first order to the final sip.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their craft and remains calm, organised and engaging during a packed Saturday-night service.
What You’ll Be Doing
Create an Unforgettable Guest Experience
- Welcome every guest with genuine warmth and personality
- Get to know our regulars and make new guests feel immediately at home
- Read the room and adapt your style to create the right experience for every guest
- Share the story behind our cocktails, wines and menu with confidence and enthusiasm
- Make thoughtful recommendations based on each guest’s tastes
- Help create an atmosphere that feels energetic, warm and effortlessly cool
- Respond quickly and positively when something isn’t right
- Ensure every guest leaves wanting to return

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
