About Us
The Punchbowl Inn is a welcoming country pub and restaurant in the heart of Lapworth, offering exceptional food, quality drinks and a warm, friendly atmosphere.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Bartender to join our team. If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a busy hospitality environment and take pride in delivering excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a warm and friendly welcome to all guests.
- Prepare and serve a wide range of drinks, including cocktails, wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks.
- Deliver excellent customer service and ensure every guest has a positive experience.
- Maintain a clean, organised and fully stocked bar throughout each shift.
- Process payments accurately using our till system.
- Follow all licensing regulations, including checking identification when required.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and health and safety.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking and cleaning.
- Work closely with the restaurant and management teams to ensure smooth service.
- Support colleagues during busy periods and contribute to a positive team environment.

What We're Looking For
- Previous bar or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- A friendly, positive and professional attitude.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A reliable team player with good attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
