About Mortimer House Kitchen
We are looking for a passionate Bartender to provide exceptional customer service to our valued guests at Mortimer House Kitchen.
On a charming corner of Fitzrovia sits Mortimer House Kitchen, an Italian restaurant, bar and terrace. The menu brings to life fond memories of family summers spent in Orta San Giulio and the Amalfi Coast.
The Role
If you have a flair for mixology, a friendly manner, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an enjoyable and memorable experience for our customers, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.

Responsibilities
- Welcoming and greeting guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Taking drink orders and serving guests with efficiency and accuracy.
- Preparing and crafting a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages based on customer preferences and our menu.
- Demonstrating knowledge of various cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers.
- Maintaining a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all supplies are well-stocked.
- Handling cash transactions and accurately processing payments.
- Engaging with customers, building rapport, and ensuring their overall satisfaction.
- Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Collaborating with team members and communicating effectively to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a busy and reputable establishment is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of mixology, drink recipes, and presentation.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding communication and listening skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
