Bartender – Café Boulud (Pre-Opening Team)

About the Role

Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch is seeking an experienced Bartender to join the pre-opening team for their signature Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a passionate luxury hotelier to help shape the exceptional guest experience at one of London’s most anticipated new landmarks.

Located at the end of The Mall, opposite Buckingham Palace, this 100-room, 17,500 sqft private residence luxury hotel will open with:

  • Two Michelin-starred restaurants:
    • Coreus by Clare Smyth
    • Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud (where you’ll work)
  • A world-class spa and fitness facilities
  • Grand event spaces (including a 320-capacity ballroom)

Key Responsibilities

As a Bartender in this pre-opening phase, you’ll contribute to:

  • Delivering five-star service standards under the Waldorf Astoria brand
  • Assisting in the refinement of guest experiences for Café Boulud’s full slate of offerings (including cocktail programmes, dining service, and special events)
  • Collaborating closely with the foundation Team Member to ensure seamless operating procedures
  • Exhibiting hospitality mastery in line with Hilton’s elite standards
  • Operating efficiently within a luxury standalone F&B service model

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record as a bartender in a fine dining or high-end R&R setting
  • Passion for craft cocktails, wine pairings, and premium beverage service
  • Strong knowledge of premium spirits, liqueurs, and mixology trends
  • Ability to multi-task under high demand while maintaining impeccable standards
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on luxury guest experiences
  • Willingness to join a pre-opening team, ready to contribute directly to the initial phase

Desirable Extras

  • Experience in michelin-starred hotels or Hilton properties
  • Familiarity with Boulud hospitality standards
  • Previous involvement in a luxury hotel launch team
