Salary: £43,475 (including service charge)
Shifts: 17:00 to 01:30 from Tuesday to Saturday
About the Beaufort Bar
The dramatic jet-black and gold décor of the Beaufort Bar provides the perfect setting for glamour and luxury. It is the hidden gem in the hotel with a discreet entrance and a cool late night vibe. Open from Thursday to Saturday nights, with a DJ playing after dark, the Beaufort Bar is a glamorous location to enjoy creative cocktails, prestige spirits, and rare vintages. The Beaufort Bar’s menu takes guests on a journey across centuries and through flavours. Focusing on the finest wines and Champagnes, with cocktails created to evoke the very specific flavour bouquets of the Champagne region and a luxurious bar dining menu, Nocturne creates a night-time world of seduction and indulgence.

Your purpose will be:
You are an ambassador for exceptional service that is the hallmark of our Savoy bar experience. Your warm, personal attention and passion for mixology is worth raising a glass to.
You will be accountable for:
- Delivering a memorable and professional 5 star beverage experience
- Advising guests through enthusiastically sharing your knowledge about our F&B offering
- Delivering on all standards, policies, and procedures to create memorable luxury guest experiences
Your key responsibilities & contribution will be:
- Delivering an extraordinary service experience to the highest industry standards with a distinctive personal touch as one team in the bar and on the floor
- Mixing drinks in a timely manner and based on our standardised recipes and service standards
- Assisting guests regarding menu choices in an informative and enthusiastic way
- Boosting our revenue through upselling and other creative initiatives
- Being part of the creative process of our beverage menus across the hotel
- Having a good knowledge of mixology and contributing your ideas to creating new and relevant recipes
- Sharing knowledge of mixology, our offering, promotions, general hotel information, and Savoy stories
- Following all safety and sanitation and COVID policies when handling food and beverage
Qualifications
What you will need to do this role:
Essential:
- 1-2 years bartending experience in a luxury environment
- Passion for and understanding of 5 star hospitality and what it takes to deliver it
- Empathetic with a talent for building rapport, and reading each guest’s desired level of interaction
- Quick thinking, resourceful, and able to solve problems 'in the moment'
- Able to remain calm and courteous at all times
- Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Willing to work in rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English
- Rights to work in the UK
