Working in close connection with Daylesford Farm, our menus showcase the best seasonal, organic produce, crafted with skill and creativity. Under the leadership of Executive Chef Callum Graham, our team combines classical technique with modern inspiration, making The Wild Rabbit one of the most exciting fine dining destinations in the Cotswolds.

About The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our bar team. This role requires both technical skill and a passion for warm, knowledgeable service. You will prepare and serve drinks with precision, contribute to the development of our cocktail list, and share the stories of our ingredients and techniques with guests.

As a Bartender at The Wild Rabbit, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills in an environment that values creativity, provenance, and craftsmanship.

Role Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic serves to the highest standard
  • Work with seasonal ingredients from Daylesford Farm, creating drinks that celebrate provenance and sustainability
  • Apply advanced cocktail-making techniques such as fat washing, clarifications, infusions, and fermentations
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar, ensuring equipment is polished and in excellent condition
  • Provide warm and knowledgeable hospitality, guiding guests through our cocktail list and wider beverage programme
  • Support the Head of Drinks in developing new cocktails and refining the drinks offering
  • Uphold smooth and efficient service during busy periods, maintaining consistency and attention to detail
  • Demonstrate awareness of allergens and dietary requirements, offering confident guidance to guests

Skills & Expertise

  • Previous bartending experience in a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, and beer
  • Passion for provenance, seasonal ingredients, and creative drinks-making
  • Technical proficiency with cocktail techniques; experience with fat washing, clarifications, and fermentations is advantageous but training can be provided
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills, with a natural warmth and confidence
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of service and presentation
  • A collaborative, team-focused approach with a drive to develop skills and grow within the role

The on target earning potential for this role is £34,000 per annum based on a 45-hour contract - comprising a base earnings of £30,162.60, plus a qualified estimate of £4,000 in gratuities and service charge. Please note that this role is paid hourly at £12.89 per hour.

About Gratuities And Service Charge

Gratuities are paid on a pro rata basis. It is estimated that in 2026 full-time employees can expect to receive in the region of £4,000 in addition to their annual salary.
