About The Venue
22 Bishopsgate, one of London's most iconic workplace locations in the heart of the City, features The Market as its central food and beverage hub spanning 20,000 square feet on the second floor.
Operated exclusively by Rhubarb Hospitality Collection, The Market brings together artisanal coffee from The Gentlemen Baristas, diverse culinary options including the Market Kitchen brasserie and rotating food stalls, and vibrant bars like On Tap wine bar.
Role Purpose
At 22 Bishopsgate, we're home to a unique workplace community, and at the centre of it all is The Market. This dynamic food and beverage destination features an exciting collection of food counters, an all-day restaurant, indoor and outdoor bars, and a thriving events space. No two days are the same. We're looking for energetic, personable bartenders who take pride in delivering outstanding service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Experience is important, but attitude, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for hospitality are what truly set people apart.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing and serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard
- Delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests, colleagues, and visitors
- Providing knowledgeable recommendations on drinks, beers, wines, and cocktails
- Maintaining high standards of bar presentation, cleanliness, and organisation
- Processing orders efficiently while ensuring accuracy during busy service periods
- Supporting bar, restaurant, café, and event operations as required
What We're Looking For
- A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
- A professional and polished approach to customer service
- Previous hospitality experience in a bar, pub, restaurant, or similar bartending role
- Good knowledge of beverages, wines, beers, and cocktails, or a willingness to learn
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences
- A team player who enjoys working collaboratively and supporting colleagues

Good to Know
This role offers 30+ hours per week on an hourly contract, with pay of up to £14.80 per hour with monthly service charge. Team members enjoy regular food and drink tastings, complimentary meals on duty, and access to fantastic employee recognition programmes, incentives, and rewards.
