Description

Presetwick Aircraft Maintenance ltd, maintenance provider for Ryanair Group are currently recruiting for a Base Maintenance Manager.

Duties Include, But Not Limited To

  • Ensure that all maintenance is carried out to UKCAA & EASA standards.
  • Responsible for promoting the Companies’ Safety and Quality policies.
  • Assessing the performance of personnel against experience, qualifications and training to ensure that they are sufficient for the tasks undertaken.
  • Responsible for the growth and development of personnel to meet the establishment and growth requirements.
  • Responsible for direction and cohesion of the senior staff at the facility.
  • Responsible for delivering on time performance whilst maintaining the highest standards and safety.
  • Ensure manpower resources, tooling and equipment are available to accomplish the scheduled work.
  • Responsible for ensuring the competence of all personnel, including management personnel under their control, have been assessed and for reporting deficiencies to the Accountable Manager.
  • Keeping a record of all training and experience of maintenance-related personnel.
  • Liaise with Customer on the work requirements.
  • Ensuring the serviceability and calibration of tools and equipment is satisfactorily maintained.
  • Preparing and maintaining Maintenance procedures, HSE requirements and promotion of the Group SMS system.
  • Ensure regular interaction with other group BMM’s to share best practices.
  • Responsible for efficiency gains in production and budget control measures.

  • Min 5yrs of Base Maintenance experience at a senior supervisory / management level, ideally with EASA B737- 800NG Type rating.
  • Proven Managerial/Supervisory experience of leading large teams/projects.
  • Previous experience of developing and implementing processes and procedures.
  • Flexible approach to working in a fast-changing environment.
  • All applicants must have an unrestricted right to work in the UK.
