OPPORTUNITIES ARE CURRENTLY FULL


Position Description

Responsibilities during this internship will include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting staff with the development and implementation of training programs for both men’s and women’s basketball teams
  • Demonstrating and teaching proper strength training, running and plyometrics
  • Maintaining the upkeep of facilities
  • Participation in an academic internship curriculum
  • Assistance in sport science testing/technology and data analysis

Interns will gain valuable experience collaborating with strength & conditioning, sports medicine, and performance nutrition as well as experience the daily operations of a D1 setting, while working with the basketball Sport Performance Department at Clemson University.

Special Requirements

  • Currently pursuing bachelors/masters in Exercise Science or related field
  • Certified in CPR/AED/First Aid
  • Strong desire to become Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coach
  • Pursuing CSCCa-SCCC or NSCA-CSCS certification
