Position Description
Responsibilities during this internship will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting staff with the development and implementation of training programs for both men’s and women’s basketball teams
- Demonstrating and teaching proper strength training, running and plyometrics
- Maintaining the upkeep of facilities
- Participation in an academic internship curriculum
- Assistance in sport science testing/technology and data analysis
Interns will gain valuable experience collaborating with strength & conditioning, sports medicine, and performance nutrition as well as experience the daily operations of a D1 setting, while working with the basketball Sport Performance Department at Clemson University.

Special Requirements
- Currently pursuing bachelors/masters in Exercise Science or related field
- Certified in CPR/AED/First Aid
- Strong desire to become Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coach
- Pursuing CSCCa-SCCC or NSCA-CSCS certification

While financial aid may be provided to offset educational expenses, no Student-Intern or Student-Assistant should expect to receive compensation for the positions they hold within the team or the support area.
