Bristol - Bat Surveyor for established UK environmental consultancy
£38,000 - £50,000 p.a.
This established UK environmental consultancy is seeking a Bat Surveyor to join its growing ecology team.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects while supporting ecological best practice.
In this role you will undertake bat surveys, including dusk emergence, dawn re-entry, activity, and roost assessments, alongside assisting with technical reporting and mitigation recommendations. Working closely with ecologists and multidisciplinary teams, you will help deliver high-quality ecological advice to clients across the UK.

As the ideal candidate you will have previous bat survey experience, a good understanding of UK wildlife legislation, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to fieldwork. A bat licence and wider protected species experience would be advantageous.
