Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Bathroom Installer and Tiler role based in Swadlincote. The Bathroom Installer and Tiler will be responsible for installing complete bathroom suites, including fitting sanitaryware, units, and fixtures to specification. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and levelling surfaces, measuring and cutting tiles, tiling walls and floors, grouting, sealing, and ensuring a high-quality finish. The role also involves reading plans, coordinating with other trades, maintaining a tidy work area, and following health and safety procedures. The installer will interact with clients professionally on-site, provide updates on progress, and help ensure projects are completed on schedule and to company standards.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience (minimum of 5 years) in bathroom installation, including fitting baths, showers, basins, toilets, and associated fixtures.
- Strong tiling skills, including surface preparation, laying wall and floor tiles, cutting, grouting, and finishing to a high standard.
- Basic plumbing and joinery abilities sufficient for first and second fix work related to bathroom installations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and measurements with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve installation issues on-site.
- Commitment to health and safety best practices, including safe use of tools and equipment and adherence to site procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, teammates, and other trades in a professional manner.
- Reliable time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Full UK driving license and ability to travel to sites in and around Swadlincote and the wider region.
- Previous experience in residential or property development projects; relevant trade qualifications or apprenticeships are an advantage.
