Battery LV Build Technician

Banbury | Manufacturing Department

Are you looking to build your career within an innovative manufacturing environment focused on advanced battery technology? We are seeking a Battery LV Build Technician to join our team in Banbury, supporting the assembly of battery systems for industrial applications.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Lead Technician, you will play a key role on the battery assembly line, following established production processes and work instructions to manufacture battery systems to exceptionally high standards of quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Lead Technician to help ensure products are delivered in line with agreed production schedules while maintaining a strong focus on quality and compliance.
  • Complete accurate build documentation, adhering to strict quality standards.
  • Promote health, safety, and environmental best practices throughout the manufacturing area.
  • Identify, log, and report faults or build issues.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
  • Support a variety of programmes and business activities as required.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

  • Proactive, adaptable, and capable of using their initiative to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and a flexible approach to work.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is required; experience within a battery manufacturing environment would be advantageous, although not essential.
  • Basic PC skills are desirable.
