BD & Business Manager

Global law firm suited near Liverpool Street is seeking an experienced BD & Business Manager, with strong communication and influencing skills, to support the growth, market profile and overall performance of its market-leading international Construction practice.

What’s On Offer:

BD & Business Manager – What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Support implementation of strategic priorities, initiatives and action plans across the international group
  • Monitor market, competitor and client trends, identifying appropriate actions
  • Drive effective use of CRM, AI and business development technologies
  • Support partners and fee earners with client development, cross-selling, referrals and strategic growth
  • Support delivery of the Construction group's business and client development plans
  • Develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns aligned to sector priorities and growth objectives
  • Plan and deliver sector events, conferences, sponsorships, webinars and client engagement programmes
  • Manage legal directory submissions, awards and other market-profile opportunities
  • Monitor sector performance against financial, business development and operational metrics
  • Provide reporting and analysis on performance, pipeline activity and growth initiatives
  • Support business cases for strategic initiatives and lateral partner recruitment

  • Proven experience delivering business development, marketing or strategic growth strategies within a law firm
  • Exposure to Construction or related sectors would be advantageous
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience interpreting financial, client and operational data
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex initiatives to deadline
  • Strong IT skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, CRM systems and AI-enabled business tools
