Business Development Manager – Software Solutions & IT Services

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive new business growth within our software solutions and IT services business.

The ideal candidate will be commercially focused, confident in generating new opportunities, building relationships with senior decision-makers, and managing opportunities from initial engagement through to closure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities.
  • Build relationships with prospective clients and strategic partners.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to closure.
  • Understand client requirements and work with technical teams to shape suitable solutions.
  • Prepare proposals and support commercial negotiations.
  • Grow existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and work towards agreed revenue targets.

  • Minimum 4 years' business development experience, preferably within software, IT services or technology consulting.
  • Proven experience generating and closing new business.
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Good commercial awareness with the ability to understand and communicate technical solutions.
  • Self-motivated, organised and target-driven.
  • Experience selling software development, Microsoft solutions, eCommerce, CRM, AI/automation, mobile/web development or managed services would be advantageous.
