M&BD Manager – Disputes / Litigation

18 Month FTC | London | Hybrid working

A leading global law firm is looking for an M&BD Manager to support its high-profile Disputes practice on an 18-month fixed-term contract.

This is a great opportunity for someone with legal BD experience who enjoys working closely with partners, driving practice strategy, leading pitches, and helping shape market profile in a major disputes team.

The Role Will Focus on:

  • Supporting the growth strategy for key litigation practice areas
  • Working directly with disputes partners on BD and marketing plans
  • Leading pitches, credentials, and new business opportunities
  • Driving client targeting, campaigns, and profile-raising activity
  • Delivering market insight to support business planning
  • Managing thought leadership, seminars, and client events
  • Championing client feedback and best practice
  • Line managing one team member and supporting the wider global M&BD team

You’ll Need:

  • BD experience gained in a law firm or professional services environment
  • Experience working with disputes/litigation lawyers
  • Strong pitching, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
  • Confidence working with partners across different teams and geographies
  • Previous line management experience
  • A proactive, commercial, and hands-on approach
