GROUND-UP TECH STARTUP OPPORTUNITY
Join a fast-growing proptech founded by ex-unicorn and property industry leaders.
Our Mission
Buying and selling a property in the UK is a nightmare. Transactions drag on for months and have a 40% chance of collapsing completely. We’re on a mission to change this - helping customers get the keys to their new home up to 95% faster than it currently takes.
To do this, we’re combining a new approach to residential property sales with a platform built on modern technology - making the experience faster, clearer, and dramatically better for everyone involved.
We’d love you to join us and help bring this model to the agents and offices who need it most.
The Role
This is a relationship-led, full-cycle BD role where you’ll be out in the market - pitching our proposition to estate agents, getting offices signed up, and keeping the momentum going long after the contract is signed.
You’ll need to be credible with decision-makers, trusted by staff on the ground, and able to sell the value of Propelr in a way that lands with both. You’re not here to sell a dream - you’re here to show them a proven, better way to sell homes.
You’ll own your own pipeline, manage your own process, and help us refine how we take Propelr to market as we grow.
Key responsibilities:
- Own and manage your full sales funnel: identify prospects, qualify, pitch, close, and retain
- Build trust and credibility with both estate agency leadership (franchise owners, directors) and front-line negotiators
- Run in-person and virtual meetings with estate agents, adapting your pitch to different personalities and levels of influence
- Tailor the Propelr proposition to the specific challenges and goals of each office or brand
- Work closely with the Onboarding and Account Management teams to ensure smooth handovers and long-term engagement
- Keep your CRM, pipeline, and priorities sharp and up to date - this is a self-managed role
- Hit your activity and deal targets with pace, precision, and strong follow-through
- Bring market feedback into the business to help refine our positioning, materials, and process

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Here’s the Reality of the Role:
You’re Selling to Agents - All Types
This isn’t a SaaS sale to a homogenous buyer. You’ll be dealing with multi-office franchise owners, one-branch independents, and sharp negotiators who’ve seen it all. You’ll need to read the room, build rapport fast, and show them why Propelr is worth trying.
It’s a Proper BD Role - Not a Pre-Packaged Machine
We’ll give you the core pitch, a product that works, and support from a great team — but you’ll still need to build your own rhythm, tactics, and funnel. You’ll be responsible for making deals happen, not waiting for leads to land in your lap.
It’s a Relationship Game, Not a One-and-Done Sale
Signing an office is the start, not the finish line. Your job is to make sure the team actually adopts Propelr — and keeps using it. That means revisiting offices, checking in, and keeping relationships warm so momentum doesn’t die on the vine.
You Need to Understand This World
Estate agency is fast-paced, instinctive, and relentlessly focused on the deal on the table. Agents make decisions quickly - and move on just as fast. If you want to land and keep their attention, you need to bring value fast, build genuine relationships, and stay top of mind without wasting their time. The best agents are brilliant at closing - but not always at process. That’s where you come in: translating Propelr into something that helps them win more instructions and get deals over the line faster.
What You’re Signing Up For:
- Ownership of your patch and pipeline - with the trust to go out and execute
- The chance to bring a genuinely useful, tangible product to a market crying out for something better
- A seat at the table: we’re still early, and the way we go to market is still evolving - your ideas will shape the next stage
- Opportunities to grow: you’ll be one of our first senior hires in BD - future roles could include leading a regional team, owning partnerships, or building out a vertical

Who This Is For:

- You’ve got a strong network - or the confidence and persistence to build one fast
- You understand the incentives and frustrations in this industry and can talk the language of deal flow, fall-through rates, and pipeline pressure
- You know how to run a sales process - qualify, multi-thread, close, and keep the momentum going
- You’re relationship-driven but commercially sharp - you know how to read the room and when to push for the close
- You’re proactive, self-managing, and hungry to get deals done
