Business Development Manager | Midlands | OTE £80,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading provider of fire and life safety solutions. Covering the East and West Midlands, you'll be responsible for developing new business and growing existing accounts across a diverse customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with Specifiers, Contractors, and End Users.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across the Midlands region.
- Promote a portfolio of Fire Detection Systems, PAVA (Public Address & Voice Alarm), and Emergency Voice Communication solutions.
- Work closely with consultants and key stakeholders to influence specifications.
- Deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical discussions.
- Manage the sales pipeline to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.

Requirements
- Proven track record in business development or technical sales.
- Experience selling Fire Systems, PAVA, Emergency Voice Communication, or related life safety products.
- Strong understanding of the specification sales process.
- Ability to build relationships with consultants, contractors, and end users.
- Self-motivated with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
