About the role

  • Develop new business opportunities across target markets, identifying and engaging prospective customers to generate sustainable revenue growth.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts, building long-term relationships and identifying opportunities for additional products and services.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their technical and commercial requirements, proposing tailored solutions that deliver value.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders whilst maintaining a consultative and professional sales approach.
  • Generate, qualify and manage a pipeline of opportunities through networking, referrals, outbound activity and market research.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations and commercial solutions to prospective and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with technical specialists and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and an excellent customer experience.
  • Conduct regular account reviews, identifying growth opportunities, cross-sell opportunities and potential risks.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management and CRM records to support business planning and performance reporting.
  • Represent the business at customer meetings, industry events and networking opportunities.
  • Contribute to the continued growth of the company by bringing ideas, market insight and a proactive approach to business development.

What you will get in this role

  • £35,000 - £60,000 basic salary depending on experience

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience within B2B sales, business development, account management or a hybrid commercial role
  • Ideally, experience within technology sales, IT services, managed services, digital transformation or a related sector
  • A track record of generating new business whilst developing existing customer relationships
  • A professional, respectful and consultative approach to sales
  • Strong communication, relationship-building and commercial skills
  • A minimum of 5 years' sales experience
  • Ability to work from a London office five days per week
  • Ambitious, hardworking and keen to make a genuine difference within a growing business
