Role Description
The BDM Co-ordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Bristol Area, United Kingdom. This role supports the Business Development Manager and wider commercial team by managing enquiries, preparing quotations, and maintaining accurate records in CRM and other sales systems. The BDM Co-ordinator will also help prepare sales reports, track key metrics, and ensure smooth communication with customers and prospects. The role involves contributing to marketing and business development activities, such as updating sales materials and supporting customer presentations.
Qualifications
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, including CRM management, data entry accuracy, and document control.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to handle customer enquiries, coordinate with internal teams, and write clear emails and reports.
- Basic sales and business development understanding, including lead follow-up, quotation preparation, and pipeline tracking.
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., MS Office suite, especially Excel and Outlook) and willingness to learn new systems.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and work methodically in a fast-paced commercial environment.
- Previous experience in a sales support, customer service, or coordination role, ideally within manufacturing or construction, is beneficial.
- Knowledge of or interest in cleanroom, controlled environment, or building products sectors is an advantage.
- Relevant education or training in business, administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
